India is hosting 18th BRICS Summit 2026 from today in Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The leaders of the expanded grouping are set to discuss global governance, multilateralism, trade, investment, technology food and energy security, health, disaster resilience and critical supply chains. The summit will also take up major global and regional developments including geopolitical conflicts and disruptions to global trade and energy routes.
Delhi has also been lit up for the BRICS Summit. From illuminated roundabouts and floral displays to freshly landscaped roads and BRICS-themed signages, Central Delhi has been given a makeover as the national capital hosts the summit from today. Elaborate security and traffic arrangements have also been put in place in Delhi.
