Delhi recorded its wettest October day in four years, bringing down temperatures and improving air quality. Authorities have also announced preventive measures to control pollution across the NCR ahead of November. The IMD expects rainfall activity to decrease from Saturday as the western disturbance moves eastwards.
Meanwhile, the CAQM has directed offices in Delhi and five NCR districts to allow up to 50 per cent of staff to work from home from November 5 to 20. Dust-generating construction and demolition activities will also be restricted, with exemptions for essential projects.
