In her welcome address, President Droupadi Murmu said that the leaders of two countries being guests of honour in each other’s successive National Day parade and celebrations, is a historic moment. The President said, it is a symbol of the depth of friendship and the strength of partnership between the two nations.
The President also expressed satisfaction that both sides have outlined an ambitious vision of the partnership for India’s Amrit Kaal. Ms Murmu added that this visit has strengthened country’s resolve to realise this vision. The President further added that from handicrafts to aerospace, India and France are taking steps and moving forward towards the future.
