U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that the United States may hit Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain very soon.
Pickaxe Mountain, located near Iran’s heavily damaged Natanz uranium enrichment facility, is a heavily fortified site that hosts two deeply buried tunnel complexes.
President Trump said the U.S. was carrying out intermittent strikes but said they are not fighting right now. He reiterated his claims that the United States effectively controlled the Strait of Hormuz and had decimated Iran’s military.
Meanwhile, Iran’s air defence commander Brigadier-General Alireza Elhami has said that Iran is ready for any kind of confrontation now or in the future because the threat is not over.
The 6-month-old war in which 18 U.S. troops and thousands of Iranians have died has reached a stalemate, with Tehran disrupting shipping traffic in the strategic waterway.
President Donald Trump also said that Iran war was small potatoes for the United States. His comments came a day after Vice President JD Vance refused to call it war between U.S. and Iran.
