Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov arrived in New Delhi today for a two-day visit focused on strengthening bilateral trade, economic, and defence ties.During his visit, Manturov is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and NSA Ajit Doval.
Earlier on Monday, EAM Jaishankar met Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko to discuss further advancement of wide-ranging cooperation, as well as regional and global developments.
India and Russia also held Foreign Office Consultations on Monday, reviewing their Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership and discussing bilateral, regional, and global issues of mutual interest. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Rudenko co-chaired the consultations.
