The Indian Air Force will present a grand display of valor and power in the skies over Namo Ghat in Varanasi on October 22, 24, and 25, 2026, under the ‘Wings Over Ganga’ event.
Along with thrilling aerial maneuvers by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, various aircraft and helicopters of the Indian Air Force, including the Rafale, Sukhoi-30, indigenous Tejas and Dhruv helicopter, will showcase their speed, power and exceptional flying skills.
Set against the sacred flow of the Ganga and the spiritual grandeur of Kashi, this event will become a magnificent confluence of national pride and air power.
The aerial displays are also intended to showcase the IAF’s operational expertise, technological capabilities and emphasis on indigenous defence technology under the government’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative. The programme will highlight the force’s heritage and modern air power, while underlining its role in national security.
