The Strait of Hormuz can open within days if U.S. agrees to the terms and conditions presented by the Iranain side, informed the Iranian Foreign Minister while speaking to the media.
Iran has presented its conditions to U.S. as part of a seven-day plan, which it says is the key to opening the vital global transport route.
Iran has repeatedly stated that it believes in diplomacy, reason and dialogue, while at the same time being ready to fight and engage in battle. If it comes under attack, it will defend itself forcefully.
“Our conditions are absolutely clear and have been presented to the American side in the form of a seven-day plan. They had some comments, which they submitted, and we are reviewing them. But as far as we are concerned, this plan is still on the table. If there is genuine sincerity on the American side, which there isn’t, there is a very clear path to reopening the Strait of Hormuz. If they meet those conditions, the Strait of Hormuz will reopen on the sixth day, and negotiations will resume on the seventh day,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.
