The Consulate General of India in New York also joined local leadership in Bergen County for a community-wide celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day.
County Executive James J. Tedesco III and Commissioner Vice Chairwoman Tracy Zur joined the celebrations, which brought together members of the diverse Indian-American community, including children and youth, with artistic performances highlighting India’s rich cultural heritage.
