The International Atomic Energy Agency says a preliminary U.S.-Iran agreement allows UN inspectors access to Tehran’s nuclear sites.
IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said the deal gives the agency a clear verification role and confirmed that initial discussions on resuming inspections have already begun.
The interim accord opens the door to 60 days of negotiations aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear programme and other outstanding issues.
