May 13, New Delhi: Leading from the front, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has significantly reduced the size of his convoy during recent domestic visits.
The reduction in vehicles was implemented while maintaining essential security components in accordance with SPG protocol. The convoy size was reduced in Gujarat and Assam immediately after his speech in Hyderabad.
PM Modi has also directed officials to include Electric Vehicles in his convoy wherever possible, without making new purchases, sources said.
