People of Zanskar gave a warm welcome to India’s Home Minister Amit Shah upon his arrival in Leh, the capital of the Union Territory of Ladakh, during a two-day visit this morning.
Showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage and dressed in traditional attire, locals performed folk dances and sang melodious songs, creating a festive and colourful atmosphere.
The cultural reception highlighted the unique traditions of the region and reflected the community’s hospitality and pride, particularly from the people of the Zanskar region.
