An inter-ministerial briefing on developments in West Asia was held today in New Delhi. Addressing the briefing, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Sujata Sharma, said that fuel supplies across the country remain stable, with domestic LPG distribution continuing smoothly and no shortages reported.
Providing an update on travel from the Gulf region, MEA Additional Secretary, Aseem R. Mahajan, stated that passenger movement to India remains steady, with flights operating in a calibrated manner.
Updating on maritime operations, Mukesh Mangal, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, said that Indian seafarers remain safe and port operations across the country continue normally without any congestion.
