Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of the state’s Establishment Day, lauding their invaluable contribution to the richness of India’s culture and heritage.
The Prime Minister said that with the double-engine government and the active participation of people committed to development, Uttar Pradesh has, over the past nine years, transformed its journey from a ‘BIMARU’ state into an exemplary one.
The Prime Minister wrote on X, “Heartiest congratulations to all my family members from Uttar Pradesh, who have made invaluable contributions to the richness of Indian culture and heritage, on the occasion of the state’s Foundation Day. Through the participation of the people here, who are dedicated to the double-engine government and development, our state has traversed the journey from being a BIMARU state to an exemplary province over the past nine years. I firmly believe that Uttar Pradesh’s potential will prove immensely valuable in keeping the nation’s progress dynamic.”
Uttar Pradesh observes its State Foundation Day on January 24 to mark its formation in 1950. The state is home to a rich cultural, spiritual, and historical legacy, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. As India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh plays a crucial role in the country’s socio-economic development and continues to witness progress across multiple sectors.
