Police cordons and forensic tents were seen outside a bar on Thursday after around 40 people were killed during a New Year’s Eve party in the upscale ski resort of Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
Swiss officials said another 100 people were injured, most of them seriously, when an explosion tore through the crowded venue. The fire broke out at a bar named Le Constellation in the resort in southwestern Switzerland. Authorities said the cause of the blast remains unclear but appears to have been an accident.
