Prime Minister Narendra Modi today shared a

blog post

recapping his year, titled “A Year That Reflects India’s Spirit.”

According to the post, 2025 unfolded as a mosaic of devotion, diplomacy, development, and deep human connection. From Operation Sindoor to heartfelt interactions with citizens, and historic acts of civilisational pride such as the Dhwajarohan Utsav in Ayodhya, the year reflected India’s spirit in motion. PM Modi’s journey spanned sacred temples, border regions, major infrastructure projects, and people-centric programmes.

The Prime Minister shared photographs capturing memorable moments throughout the year. These included a woman breaking down in tears of happiness upon spotting him during a roadshow in Ahmedabad, students taking a selfie with him in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and the hoisting of the sacred Dharma Dhwaja on the spire of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. He observed the 79th Independence Day at the Red Fort, performed pooja and darshan at Gangaikonda Cholapuram Temple in Tamil Nadu, and interacted with global leaders such as Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Canadian PM Mark Carney, Australian PM Anthony Albanese, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Brazilian President Lula, and then-US President Donald Trump.

International visits included a ceremonial welcome in Port Louis, Mauritius, a Saudi Air Force escort in Saudi Arabia, and meetings with world leaders in Jordan, Argentina, Oman, France, the UK, Ethiopia, and Trinidad and Tobago. Back home, PM Modi shared lighter moments interacting with children, divyangjan, and citizens, including a kid doing a ‘Namaste’ to him, and celebrating festivals like Raksha Bandhan at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. He also paid tribute to national heroes and institutions, such as presenting Ayushman health cards in Varanasi, visiting the Indian Women’s Cricket and Blind Cricket teams, releasing commemorative stamps for 100 years of the RSS, and interacting with farmers and beneficiaries of government programmes.

PM Modi’s engagements spanned across India, from the snow-clad peaks of Sonamarg in Jammu and Kashmir to Darbhanga in Bihar, Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh, Nava Raipur in Chhattisgarh, and Udupi in Karnataka. He participated in major infrastructural inaugurations like the Chenab and Pamban bridges, inspected projects such as the Surat Bullet Train Station, and visited wildlife and cultural sites including Gir National Park and Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi. He also took part in Operation Sindoor, visiting Adampur air force base in Punjab and chairing crucial defence meetings at 7 LKM.

The photo recap highlighted PM Modi’s active domestic and international engagements, blending devotion, development, diplomacy, and human connection, reflecting a year that truly embodied India’s spirit.
