As the year comes to an end, winter conditions continue to affect daily life across India, with cold waves and Dense fog is continuing in many areas.
Sub-zero temperatures were recorded in Kashmir, while cold wave conditions were reported from parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
The Meteorological Department said Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh may get light to moderate rain or snowfall at many places from December 30 to January 2.
Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may receive light to moderate rain or snowfall at a few places during this period.
In the national capital, the India Meteorological Department said Delhi is expected to see partly cloudy skies over the next few days.
Light to moderate fog is expected in the morning hours, as cold wave and fog conditions continue to disrupt normal life.
