Sri Lanka spinners Dunith Wellalage and Maheesh Theekshana starred with three and two wickets respectively. Chasing a below-par score, Sri Lanka got off to a disastrous start, losing five wickets in the powerplay.
England captain Harry Brook’s decision to hand the new ball to Will Jacks worked wonders as he picked up three wickets.
Jofra Archer, Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid also took two wickets each as Sri Lanka were bundled out for just 95.
