Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated two-day 26th All India Fingerprint Conference 2026 in New Delhi.
On the occasion, the Home Minister also launch the ‘Abhigyan’ app, the CrPI System, eProsecution 2.0, and eForensics 2.0 applications.
The conference aims to strengthen the use of forensic science and technology in criminal investigations and enhance the efficiency of the criminal justice system.
Applauding the conference, Union Home Minister also emphasised that scientific evidence plays a central role in the evolving criminal justice system and urged states to focus on data quality and security.
