The FASTag Annual Pass has crossed the significant milestone of one crore passes issued after its launch on 15th August last year. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said that the milestone reflects growing acceptance of the Annual Pass among private vehicle owners for providing a seamless and economical travel option on the National Highways and Expressways.
It said that the pass is applicable on about more than one thousand fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways which eliminates the need to frequently recharge FASTag through one-time fee payment of three thousand seventy five rupees for one year validity or 200 toll plaza crossings.
