Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Sunday that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 635 Ukrainian drones overnight across more than a dozen regions.
Separately, two people were killed in a Ukrainian drone strike in Russia’s southwestern Saratov region, Governor Roman Busargin said. In another incident, three people were killed and 15 others injured in an explosion near a café in central Moscow on Saturday.
Emergency services and police responded to the scene, and authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion.
