Marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of service as head of government, BJP organised ‘Seva Jyoti’ programme at Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex in New Delhi. Prime Minister Modi addressed Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha at the programme, which was also attened by the BJP National President Nitin Nabin and several senior party leaders.
It was on October 7, 2001 that Narendra Modi first took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Since then, he has been continuously serving the public, first as the head of the state government and, then since 2014, as the head of the central government. The Prime Minister received a rousing welcome upon his arrival at the stadium.
During the event, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the transformation India has undergone since 2014. He stated that this was made possible only due to clear intentions and decisive policies. The Prime Minister credited ‘Jan Shakti’ for this achievement. He expressed gratitude towards every individual and every event that taught him something new. He remarked that while those who supported him showed him the power of trust, those who opposed him helped him understand the power of democracy. The Prime Minister affirmed that 140 crore Indians would together build a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, and that they would neither stop nor pause until this goal is achieved.
