India will host the BRICS National Security Advisers’ Meeting 2026.
The two-day meeting will be chaired by India’s National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, on June 22 and 23.
National Security Advisers and heads of delegation from BRICS member countries will deliberate on the theme,
“Non-traditional Security Challenges Confronting the World Today.”
The discussions will focus on the rapidly evolving nature of global security challenges and the impact of emerging technologies on new and complex threats.
Participants will also review the outcomes of the recently held BRICS Joint Working Groups on Counter-Terrorism and on Security in the Use of Information and Communication Technologies.
