Team India defeated Afghanistan by 170 runs in the 2nd ODI in Lucknow, to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
The victory came after a dominant batting display led by Captain Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan, as they both scored centuries. Gill continued his fine form with a brilliant 154 off 110 balls, while Kishan hammered 125 from just 79 deliveries. Together, they added 224 runs and put India in complete control.
Rohit Sharma also contributed 48 as India posted a massive 402 despite a late collapse.
Chasing 403, Afghanistan struggled to keep pace with the required run rate. Rahmat Shah fought back with 79 runs, but lacked support from the other end.
India eventually bowled out Afghanistan for 232 in the 44th over to secure a convincing win and seal the series.
