British Defence Secretary John Healey has resigned following a dispute with Prime Minister Keir Starmer over military spending. The disagreement comes as talks between the defence and finance ministries over increased military spending have delayed Britain’s Defence Investment Plan for months. The uncertainty has also drawn criticism from the country’s defence industry, which says delays are affecting long-term security and investment planning.
