The Prime Minister was welcomed in Rome, Italy, with music and musical performances. Valerio Bruni played the santoor, Leo Vertuni played the sitar, Simon Mattiello played the flute, Francisco Gherardi played the tabla, and Nicolo Melocchi played the flute.
Earlier, the Indian community in Rome, Italy, accorded a warm welcome to the Prime Minister. A large number of Indians gathered to greet him, while cultural programmes were presented in his honour.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Italy on the fifth and final leg of his five-nation tour and received a grand welcome in Rome.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will discuss key bilateral issues with the Italian leadership. He is scheduled to call on President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella and hold talks with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
