The first phase of voting in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections is set to take place on Thursday in 152 seats covering 16 districts.
The Election Commission of India has made all arrangements to conduct a free, fair and peaceful election. Security arrangements by the Commission include Quick Response Teams, flying squads, and CCTV cameras. PwD-managed booths and 100% webcasting in all booths are also part of the arrangements.
The second phase of polling will be held next Wednesday in West Bengal.
