In Uttar Pradesh, result of two constituencies has been declared. BJP and Congress have won one seat each. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won from Varanasi defeating Ajay Rai of Congress by a margin of more than 1 lakh 50 thousand votes. Rakesh Rathor of Congress defeated Rajesh Varma of BJP by a margin of over 89 thousand votes in Sitapur.
