Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will launch the National Policy on Research and Development and Innovation in the Pharma-MedTech Sector in India in New Delhi on Tuesday. He will also launch the Scheme for the promotion of Research and Innovation in the Pharma MedTech Sector.
The Ministry said that the policy aims to encourage R and D in pharmaceuticals, including traditional medicines and phytopharmaceuticals and medical devices. The Ministry added that this policy can potentially help the sector to grow from 120 to 130 Billion Dollars over the next decade.
