President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Kanyakumari on a day’s visit from Thiruvananthapuram. President Draupadi Murmu visited the Vivekananda Memorial Hall and meditated at the Meditation Hall. Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi and Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Technology Mano Thangaraj were also present.
Later, she visited the Ramayana exhibition hall in Vivekananda Kendra premises and offered prayers at the Bharat Mata temple there. Later, she will leave for Lakshadweep. Tomorrow, the President will interact with Self-Help Groups at Kavaratti and will proceed to Bangaram Island. She will return to New Delhi via Kochi on the 21st of March. The President is on a six-day tour of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep.
