Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than 26 thousand crore rupees in Jagdalpur, the divisional headquarters of tribal Bastar division in Chhattisgarh. Raipur Akashvani correspondent reports the Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation the NMDC’s greenfield Steel Plant established at Nagarnar in Bastar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation today the steel plant established by the public sector National Mineral Development Corporation-NMDC at Nagarnar in the tribal Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. Built at a cost of about Rs 24 thousand crores, the integrated steel plant will produce high-quality steel. This plant and its ancillary industries will generate employment opportunities for thousands of people. With the commissioning of this plant, this tribal area which was once infamous for Maoist activities, will now register its place in the steel map of the world.
