Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka on 6th February. He will inaugurate India Energy Week at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre in the morning. It is a mega event integrating energy exhibition and conference focusing on the full spectrum of subjects related to energy security with high level domestic and international participation from across the global energy value chain. It will discuss energy transition, sustainability, security and access to technology.
There are over 1000 exhibitors from over 50 countries with 15 countries hosting their national pavilion at the venue. After inaugurating the India Energy Week, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the helicopter manufacturing plant of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited at Bidarahalli Kaval in Gubbi Taluk of Tumkuru district in the afternoon. Spread across 615 acres, the manufacturing plant will have assembly line, hangar, admin building to manufacture Light Utility Helicopters. The Prime Minister will thereafter lay the foundation stone for Jal Jeevan Mission projects at Chikka Nayakana Halli and Tiptur at the same venue. The Prime Minister will leave for New Delhi in the evening according to the official release.
