PM Modi attended a meeting with top ministers this morning to discuss the huge security breach in Parliament yesterday. Both Houses were adjourned soon after they met as the Opposition demanded answers on the breach. Initial probe by security agencies revealed the breach was well-coordinated and meticulously planned, allegedly by seven people, six of whom have been nabbed. In a fresh development, 8 Parliament staffers have been suspended. According to sources, the accused knew each other for four years and hatched the plan a few days ago. The accused were in touch with each other through social media platforms.
The four arrested in connection with the security breach in Parliament yesterday have been charged under anti-terror law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), besides sections in Indian Penal Code. They will be produced in court today
