Over three thousand two hundred Indians have been evacuated from the conflict-hit Sudan under Operation Kaveri so far. The Government of India is working relentlessly to evacuate Indian nationals from Sudan and bring them home safely under Operation Kaveri. External Affairs Ministry’s spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, 231 passengers have reached Ahmedabad today. He said, 11th flight carrying 328 passengers has also left from Jeddah to New Delhi.
External Affairs Ministry has estimated that around three thousand five hundred Indians and one thousand Persons of Indian Origins are in conflicts-hit Sudan.
