Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan noted that today India is the voice of the global south and it is entirely due to its civilisational ethos. Releasing the book ‘India’s Knowledge Supremacy: The New Dawn’ by Dr. Ashwin Fernandes on Thursday, Mr. Pradhan added that Indian knowledge tradition is as deep as the ocean and more books on Bharatiya Gyan Parampara need to be encouraged. The Minister highlighted that Vedas and Upanishads are an immense source of knowledge and evidence that the roots of democracy germinated in India. The Ministers also appealed to synergise technological capabilities with Indian knowledge traditions for fulfilling domestic and global requirements and providing solutions to issues concerning humanity.
