Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh from Monday. On the first day of his visit, he will launch the ‘Vibrant Villages Programme’ in Kibithoo, a border village in the Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Union Home Minister will also inaugurate nine Micro Hydel Projects of the Arunachal Pradesh government constructed under the “Golden Jubilee Border Illumination Programme” in Kibithoo. These electricity projects will empower people living in border villages.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has approved the ‘Vibrant Villages Programme’ with central components of forty eighty hundred crore rupees including 25 hundred crore rupees exclusively for road connectivity for the Financial Years 2022-23 to 2025-26.
