Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has said that in India, health is treated as a service and not as commerce. He said, if any new innovation takes place in the health sector in the country then India never considers it as commerce rather than service.
The Health Minister was addressing a function on ‘One Health: Integrated, Collaborative Multisectoral Approach to Optimal Health in New Delhi today, Marc 15. Dr. Mandaviya said that the CoWIN app developed by India for vaccination has been accepted by many countries for their own use. He said, by developing this App or platform, India never tried to create a monopoly rather than service to mankind.
