Mumbai terror attack mastermind and banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed`s son Hafiz Talha has been declared as a designated terrorist by the Ministry of Home Affairs under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
In a notification issued on Friday, the ministry said Hafiz Talha Saeed is a senior leader of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit and head of the cleric wing of the Lets. He is “actively involved in recruitment, fund collection, planning and executing attacks by LeT in India and Indian interests in Afghanistan,” the notification said.
