Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament beginning 20th of July, the Government has convened an all-party meeting today. The Monsoon session will commence on Thursday and will continue till 11th of August. There will be a total of 17 sittings in this session spread over 23 days. During the all party meeting, the government will seek support of all the parties to ensure smooth functioning of both the Houses of Parliament.
Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi had urged all parties to contribute towards productive discussions on legislative business and other items during the Monsoon Session.
