Finally, BJP released the first list of 29 candidates for the Delhi elections. The party has fielded Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi assembly seat against AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal. Senior Congress leader and former CM Sheila Dixit’s son Sandeep Dixit will also contest for the seat.
Former Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, who switched to BJP from AAP last month, has been given a ticket from the Bijwasan Assembly seat. He will take on AAP’s Surender Bharadwaj.
BJP has fielded Dushyant Gautam from Karol Bagh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden, Kailash Gehlot from Bijwasan, Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar.
