Amid reports that CM Nitish Kumar may rejoin the BJP, the Bihar government has transferred 79 Indian Police Service (IPS) and 45 Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) officers in the state.
The bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar took place on Friday. As the rift between the current government in Bihar deepens, all the parties corralled their lawmakers and held meetings over the weekend. BJP state president Samrat Choudhary left for Delhi to hold discussions regarding the developments with the party’s top leadership.
