Govt under PM Modi committed to policy of zero tolerance against corruption: Dr Jitendra Singh
India today reiterated its commitment for eradication of corruption. Speaking at the 1st ever Ministerial Meeting of G-20 Anti-Corruption Working Group, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said that Indian Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the policy of zero tolerance against corruption and unaccounted money.

He said a range of initiatives have been taken by the Modi government over the last 6 years in pursuance of this. Dr Jitendra Singh referred to the India’s Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, which the Narendra Modi government amended after 30 years in 2018 to introduce a number of new provisions.
