Sourav Ganguly to take over as BCCI President

Former captains Sourav Ganguly will take over as the 39th President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai today at its Annual General Meeting. This will end the 33-month reign of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA).

Mr Ganguly is the unanimous nomination for the post of BCCI President along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah`s son Jay as the Secretary. Mahim Verma of Uttarakhand is the new Vice President.
